Some of our volunteer opportunities include:

  • Construction
    • Skilled
    • Unskilled
  • Family Support
  • Front Office / Clerical
    • Usually 1 or more days per week, 4 hour increments
    • Answer phone & light filing
    • Make calls to set up donated lunches, donated food for events & job sites
  • Serve on a committee:
    • Board of Directors (currently 10-15 members)
    • Church Relations
    • Construction
    • Development Committee
    • Family Support Committee
    • Family Partnership Committee
    • Home Store Committee
    • Land Acquisition Committee
  • Construction Needs
    • Groups that can work perhaps 1 day per week on special projects
    • Home Store, e.g. building shelves
  • Fund Raising
  • Land or grant acquisition
  • Home Store
    • Usually 1 or more days per week, normally 4 hour increments
    • Light retail work:
      • Customer service
      • Run cash register
      • Set up room areas for display
      • Restock shelves & areas of the store
      • Clean area of responsibility
    • Donation pick-ups in truck (must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. weight during pick-ups)
  • Provide lunch for a grateful Saturday building work crew
  • Initiate and participate in a Habitat fundraising event
