NOW IS THE TIME TO JOIN THE CHAMBER!!

This is an exciting time for our Chamber. The continued growth that we’ve experienced has brought us to a threshold filled with opportunities. And it is my sincere hope that throughout the coming year we work together with our membership to develop programs, committees and events that will encourage their participation and enhance their business within our community.

With the opening of the Apopka Community Center, we now have an excellent venue to bring back a very popular event…”The Taste of Apopka”. The target date for this is November 15, 2007. This is the perfect opportunity for our local restaurants and businesses to showcase their goods and services to our citizens.

And as our city begins to plan for downtown redevelopment, it is vital that the Chamber play an active role in this process by partnering with our city for business recruitment and retention. As the voice of the business community, we have a responsibility to share our ideas and input with our city leaders on the types of businesses that will not only thrive, but enjoy tremendous success in our community.

In closing, I would like to share the Mission Statement of the Chamber, so as we plan for the future of our organization we will have a clear path to follow:

“As the primary business support organization of the Apopka area, we exist to enhance established businesses and attract new businesses through economic and community development”.
