Economic Development Looking to Apopka's future

In the past six years, many new businesses and residents have chosen to call  Apopka home, which means we continue to be at the forefront of economic development in Central Florida. By insuring the proper land use planning, transportation network and infrastructure are in place, Apopka will continue to be a leader in economic growth for years to come.

If the past 18 months have taught us anything, it is that WE must be in charge of our own destiny as a city and community, pursuing economic opportunities that will bring jobs and new businesses to Apopka. That is why we continue to move forward with our new town center project, including revitilization of our current downtown corridor.Fiscal responsibility will continue to be our roadmap as we navigate our way through these challenging economic times.

Below is an overview of some of the economic accomplishments we have experienced in the past few years.  This is such an exciting time to be a part of this city, and it is my sincere hope that you will share this excitement with me as we look forward to Apopka's economic future!
